Art is love. Art should be felt through your senses. It’s not necessary to be understood.

Gergana was born on 23 of April 1979 in Sofia, Bulgaria. She graduated from the National High School of Fine Arts “Acad. Ilia Petrov”, Sofia, Bulgaria – specialty Graphics in 1997. In 2002 she earned a Bachelor’s degree from the National Academy of Art, Sofia, Bulgaria – specialty Textiles.

She has had solo exhibitions and many group exhibitions both within Bulgaria and abroad. Gergana participated in a number of practical workshops in Bulgaria and abroad.

Her paintings are generally still lifes, influenced by Matisse, Picasso and Monet, and they have similarities with the fauvism style. Gergana combines bright colors and different techniques- oil, acrylic, ink, sand, pigments on canvas and paper. 

It is characteristic of her works that they are mostly still lifes, and over the years she also experimented with abstraction. Combination of bright colors and different techniques – oil, acrylic, ink on canvas and paper.

Since 2009, she has been working as a make-up artist in the Global Films team for shows and television projects: Hosts on the Air, Like Two Drops of Water, The Masked Singer, Full Madness, The Magnificent Six, Bulgaria is Looking for Talent, The Stars in Us, Everything is Possible with Rachkov, etc.
